Chapter 01
three cardinal directions
South · Sun
the water axis. home. feeling as first language.
North · Moon
the earth axis. structure. how weather is metabolized.
East · Rising
the fire axis. presence. the horizon others meet first.
Three axes. Three directions. This is orientation before movement. To know where you are, you begin here — at the intersection of what centers you, what steadies you, and what greets the world before you do.
Chapter 02
the mechanics of movement
Type
Generator
The Generator is a builder of response. Not a river that decides to flow, but one that shapes itself around what arrives. The mechanics are the gut — not the head. Answers come as sensation before language.
Terrain · Responsive
To respond is not to react. Reaction is speed. Response is recognition — the body knowing before the mind translates. This is orientation in motion.
Chapter 03
the observer method
Profile · 5/2 — the Heretic-Hermit
Line 05 · Conscious · Personality
the surveyor. the stranger who walks into unmapped terrain and returns with a general solution. people project onto Line 5s — expect them to know.
Line 02 · Unconscious · Design
the cabin. the natural one who's called by others but must withdraw to recharge. the place the surveyor must return to for the map to make sense.
To survey and to withdraw. To arrive and to disappear. The Profile is not a personality — it is a method for moving between visibility and integration.
Chapter 04
the terrain itself
Incarnation · Left Angle
Cross of Cycles
Gate 15 · 10 · 46 · 25
Conscious · Sun / Earth
extremes and behaviour. the rhythm of a life that will not sit still. the loving of self as the ground for loving the world.
Unconscious · Sun / Earth
the body as vessel. innocence as posture. determination to feel the whole of a season before it turns.
A Left Angle Cross is transpersonal — a life that ripples outward. Cycles is the name of the terrain: not one shape, but the same shape in different weather. This guide is one of the phases.
Chapter 05
the road itself
Path
1 + 2 + 7 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 5 = 34 → 7 · Karmic Debt · 16
the Seeker with the Karmic Ledger
Karmic Debt · 16
sixteen is not a punishment — it is a curriculum. the road demands watchfulness. discernment as posture. the collapse of anything built on ego before it can hold real weight.
Destination · 7
seven is the analyst who becomes a mystic. solitude is not exile — it is a working condition. depth over surface. the road ends in a library.
The Path is the road walked, not the destination reached. The Karmic Debt is the toll the road charges to be walked properly. Both are the same road.
Chapter 06
the vehicle, not the road
HAEMISH DAVID O'DONNELL → 32 → 5
the Shapeshifter with the Compound Signature
Compound · 32
thirty-two is the master of language across mediums. voice, image, code, song. a signal that finds many forms. the compound remembers what the single digit forgets.
Root · 5
five is freedom, versatility, the refusal to sit in one form. movement as method. the vehicle changes to match the terrain.
The Path is where. The Expression is how. If seven is the seeker on the road, thirty-two-slash-five is the vehicle that changes to meet each mile.
Chapter 07
the through-line
Dominant · 07
24% · Appears Most
the Seeker returns
the dominant is the through-line. when a number appears at both the destination and the frequency, the terrain and the traveler are made of the same material. this is the seeker who cannot help but seek.
Life Path is where the road ends. Expression is how the vehicle moves. Dominant is the compass needle that always points the same direction, no matter which road, no matter which vehicle.
Chapter 08
how the map is carried
This is where the mapmaker sets down the instruments and describes the practice. Not what the map contains — how it is opened, folded, returned to. The five patterns below are not beliefs. They are working conditions.
Pattern · 01
the Karmic Debt asks for a posture of noticing. slow the reflex to name. let the shape arrive before the label.
Pattern · 02
the Generator does not decide. wait for the thing that arrives. the sacral says yes before the head knows why.
Pattern · 03
the 5/2 and the dominant seven both require withdrawal. solitude is not exile. it is a working condition. the map is drawn in the cabin.
Pattern · 04
the Cross of Cycles teaches that no state is final. every terrain returns in different weather. do not confuse a season for a lifetime.
Pattern · 05
the numbers do not decide anything. they orient. know your latitude before you decide which direction to walk.
This guide is one folding of the map. The terrain will be the same tomorrow. The weather will not. The cartographer's copy is the one you carry — the one that has been walked in, marked, and returned to.
